In April, 2008, EBO Group was awarded a $1M Third Frontier Grant from the State of Ohio to develop a power dense oil cooled electric drive technology for hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and electric vehicle (EV) applications. This patent pending oil cooled technology provides an eight-fold increase over standard high efficiency AC induction motors. eZE hybrid drives is now developing a post transmission parallel electric drive that will allow zero emission operation of plug-in hybrid commercial vehicles (PHEV). Additional development is targeted for the electrification of other engine driven equipment, both on road and off road. The future is electric!
